What is it with franchises called Avatar and making America the bad guy?

1. The Fire Nation is Japan. 2. For this to have any relevance it'd have to be written decades ago. 3. Sure are a lot of people mad that the US is helping Ukraine resist Russian invasion.

This is the stupidest possible spin on the subject matter and the only reason you'd ignore the incredibly obvious parallels to Japan is because you're so brain rotted by an America-centric view you cannot come up with any other examples of bad things happening in the world

That doesn't even make sense. America's influence is primarily economic and diplomatic. We may have large army it's mostly defensive. The Fire Nation's power was entirely gotten from direct military conquest. A better Western comparison would be colonial Europe.
