- npcs aren't known for giving bad map directions, they usually just put a marker - apple maps is a boring reference & it doesn't give quest directions - why is the npc accused? just say its the worst - it added "local" bc of local news but "npc" implies it's set irl, not in-game

Hard Drive just suddenly dropping a dunk on AI like this is so unexpected, yet expected at the same time

Never in my life have I seen someone get ratioed by Hard Drive but there's a first time for everything

I remember dabbling in the idea that I could write for y'all but then the application process involved making sure you could ALSO write the headlines. That crap is so hard I instantly swerved into a whole different career path 😂

Apple maps isn't even that bad anymore. It's not 2012 anymore, and this ain't machinima.

I have my own armchair analysis of why this sucks!
I have a whole thing for this! I think AI is specifically bad at being *topical*. Humans have poor memory; while we might have experienced 50 years, we really only access highlights from the last couple in our day-to-day. GPT has ALL INFO EVER and no sense of "the present"

Sounds like a set up for a family guy cut away

The last time I heard an Apple Maps joke was on the Colbert Report.
