Reduced RPG elements? Yeah, that's a fair criticism. If that's a big deal for you, then I can see why FF16 would feel underwhelming. I can fully recommend Bravely Default and Persona if you care about those things though ^^

I definitely see where you're coming from. It is a Final Fantasy game. But a lot of that stuff just doesn't mix with action games at all. So, unfortunately I can also understand fully why they aren't present and it doesn't bother me.
