I swear in all my life I've never seen fans of a game get so damn defensive over legitimate criticisms. I like the game a lot, I'm almost done with it. But it's definitely not a groundbreaking masterpiece, and that's ok lol

We Also Didn’t Like This (And 10 Other Things In As Many Articles) But We Hope You Can Give Our (Tired) Takes A Chance (They’re Surface Level Because We Didn’t Actually Play It) Since We Need The Clicks (And Are Salty Because Our Attitude Locked Us Out Of Pre-release Previews)

The only thing that's bugged me is that the world map. It's probably one of the most iconic features of the series (not including spin-offs of course) and they fucked it up like they did in FFX

"lack of elemental weaknesses " This one wont work on this type of action games, since you cant equip all 7 Eikon at the same time if a require element is needed. You will need to pause the game, and this is NOT that type of game

The equipment system is legit criticism, you get all these materials in the game thinking you are going to need them for things later on but just end up selling them. Wish the crafting system was more in depth or none existent altogether.
