Miles isn’t black. Miles is obviously a shade of k i n g I wouldn’t expect normal people to see / know such a unique color.

While I do find this funny, and I'm completely fine with people thinking anything they want about a cartoon character, I'm not sure that this is a perfect analogy. We can see Miles' skin, we don't see anything quite as obvious with Gwen (though I don't think that we have to).
