Love Witcher 3. Loved it even more because of fast travel

If the maps interesting I don't mind a lack of true fast travel but if its like FO4 I'll just mod it into survival mode so I can still use the food/drink/sickness mechanics. Skyrims survival mode was actually alright thanks to still having carriage and boat hire.

In Horizon and Spider-Man, I never fast travel!

This article isn't even satire tbh, HZD has a graphically great world but often feels empty and traversing feels like a chore. And while the overall story is really interesting the dialogue is like a amateur writer's first draft.

I hate fast travel. It makes me sad.

Open World games need to add actual fun ways of travelling the world. No one wants to walk or drive to places for 20 mins.
