That reminds me; one of the writers for the Transformers Avengers crossover comic said that after the event, all of the Avengers died horribly when Megatron invaded earth in one comic arc.

This surprisingly fits tonally with what happened to Abomination between the 2008 Hulk film and She-Hulk, which makes this a very believable outcome.
