I like what games are doing now and adding individual accessibility options, though I feel RE4’s dynamic difficulty is a better way to implement it. I beat Elden Ring a couple times, but I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed fighting Maliketh.

Sure, with an asterisk. I think that every game should have an easy mode, but achievements shouldn't be unlocked if you accomplish a task on easy. Every game should also have a hard mode, too.

Good question.

All games should have the difficulty of QWOP

To make a long story short: no. There are better ways to design variable difficulty and accessibility that are less intrusive to creative intent than a blanket easy mode. More accessibility options are always welcome though.

Fuck no that’s for babies just get better genuinely or over prepare if you want it to be easy

Every game should have a Greasy Mode™️. TOO OFTEN have I found myself getting stuck and/or spending too long dislodging myself from a weird bit of collision or enemy hitbox. I deserve to enable an option that makes me completely smooth slippery and BoUnCy.

Definitely the title to get people all upset 😄 every game should be easy but call the difficulty 'super hard (not for game journalists)' to make gamers all happy inside and feel superior as they enjoy so much.

Man, with such obvious bait, I really wanna take it.
