well a good story should never be locked behind a difficulty setting. If I like a game but need to spent hours just to get a tiny bit of progress then it makes it only frustrating and not fun. It only hurts the game because people won‘t like it if they can‘t experience the story.

Not everyone has the time and skill to play the same games as everyone else, and why should we leave them out of gaming?

Hard Drive’s own Easy mode

No, devs, nor the community behind difficult games, shouldn't be surprised if others don't want to play it though, for whatever reason. Those Souls-like are not for me, I simply don't have the patience for it.

I don't know about "should," but I see no harm in it either.

Would love to see more games have normal hard and easy as options to go for. I know it would create more work, but some people can only devote their time casually to it. Even a hard mode unlocked upon completion is fun, as it drives you to want to beat the game again 2 see chang

Yes and it should be called "Journalist Mode" :P

If it's optional and not either forced on you or mocks you for using it (I'm looking at you Metle Gear and Wolfinstien) then I say sure.
