red dead you can make the exception because most of the interactions and mechanics were semi realistic so it made swnse you would have to check the pockets of everyone you wanna loot

When I'm doubt, RPG it out. Have animation speed play to the "level of difficulty" of each lootable point. With a 40% content boost for crouching in place over said point. Increased looking will level up the player characters' looting stat which'll make the threshold smaller.

I love rdr2, almost through another play through of it, but i hate it, that the animal skinning and when you're playing games like poker or blackjack. Just speed it up, man, after the first few times who fucking cares about it looking real

there should've been an option to turn it off, personally I liked it, I had alot of time to play and was in no rush. But I 100% understand those that would've preferred to turn it of to save time.
