The markup on menu items already seems like it's a competitive race to the top with these apps. Charging me a $10 service fee on an order I already know they're charging me twice as much for with all the food.

You joke about this, but as someone who used to drive for them it really does feel like you have to try and be a better driver by accepting literally 100% of all orders lest you miss out on the off chance of better offers that come by. And if you don't? Eff off, GH says.
