Good hub area, good lore, good fashion and some cool concepts, with some of the worst areas, worst combat, tedious levels, and an overall “fuck you” to the player. Better than people give it credit it for though

I have a soft spot for DS2, sure it had worse level design than 1 or 3, sure it was clunky, but I loved the pvp build variety, the fashion and the atmosphere, even now, majula is the best player hub.
