Not when the difficulty is the point of the game, no.

No not every game should have an easy mode, in some games the difficulty is part of the story and part of the message the devs are trying to communicate. The obvious example of this imo is pathologic

No. Look challenge is what makes a game fun, interesting, and educational. If there's an easy mode all the time where's the fun? You could be bad at games but still learn yes it'll be frustrating but that's the beauty of it. You're learning from your mistakes.

games should make everyone that complains about easy mode play the game on easy the first time you pop it in. Just to fuck with you. Everyone else can pick whichever difficulty they want

No only should they not have an easy mode, they should actually force you to post on social media every time you lose so all your friends know how much you suck.

It’s a tough one, honestly. On a personal level I’m glad that Elden Ring didn’t have a difficulty selection because I 100% would have whacked it down to easy at some point in my game. But the feeling of prevailing through incredibly tough situations was so worth the struggle

Should every game have an easy mode? No. Should every game have accessibility settings to allow for anyone to be able to play it? Absolutely
