the answer is no the entire game was designed around a very very specific level of difficulty. if u wanted to add easy mode u would have to redesign most of the weapons and enemies (not happening) or just use damage sliders like most other games and those fuck up the og intent

Elden ring has an easy mode, it’s called guides, overlevelling and busted gear

yes, it doesn't need to be an option in menu but it hurts no one to add accessibility features into your game

Yes, every game should have an easy mode. Mostly because losers who make beating a hard game their whole personality should absolutely have that taken away from them.

Added accessibility options to make the game easier to play, yes. Lowered difficulty, no. Imagine Super Mario, but all the jumps are shorter and the enemies can't kill you. It's just a movie with buttons and an insult to the creators art.

I’m not sure it’s possible or desirable to make art truly accessible to everyone, but in an ideal world - yes; more time should be spent, more things considered, etc.

One thing that drives me insane is people thinking they are entitled to art. The presentation of art is 100% in the hands of the creator and if you don't like the art then it isn't for you.
