stardew was directly inspired by harvest moon- which is now story of seasons. not every farming game- esp new ones- are stardew ripoffs. stardew REVITALIZED the genre, doesnt mean everyone’s copying it.

The funny thing is years ago, I wished so hard for more, better games like harvest moon.... then I got Stardew Valley. Which was absolutely amazing!... So amazing that now I don't even want the hundreds more that are coming out lol.
