I only briefly played the Demons souls PS5 remake but I’ve really got into Elden Ring. Why does everyone hate DS2?

Honestly I think ds2 was more enjoyable than 3 for me, but 1 still takes the cake for me, absolutely. DS2 just feels like such a unique and different game from the series though, and I enjoy it for all of the experimental things it brought as well as the awesome settings
