yeah I accidentally went down the mandatory path on the prologue level in BioShock and missed some rooms, the waypoint indicator moves in real time so while it was pointing away from me at one point I must've taken the mandatory route without realizing it before it was too late

did this with my life, ended up going to college. take it from me and just go down the right path first
