Who even asked for a remake or adaptation? Never while watching Cowboy Bebop did I ever think it was lacking something or needed a new take. It's an anime known by people who don't even know what anime is; that's how near perfect it is.

Maybe it's a regional dialect thing, but we've started adding "Real" to the title of the anime. "No, no, not the live-action one. I'm talking about the Real Cowboy Bebop."

I enjoy the new one for what it is. About 3 eps in, I appreciate that they've moved some things around so that, with the exception of the first one, it isn't just "oh it's this episode ". Only weak link is Vicious IMO.

Sad thing is that there will be people who have never watched the anime and never will who will think the Netflix remake is sone kind of masterpiece.
