me about 90% of the way through mario & luigi superstar saga realizing that advance attacks are actually completely separate moves that require different inputs and not just damage upgrades to the normal attacks

In ds3, I discovered running about halfway through and jumping about 2 thirds my way through. I could’ve sworn they never out right explain it though my friends tell me otherwise. Also I beat champion gundyr but didn’t know you needed to summon the firekeeper for the achievement

Me not understanding the battle system at all in Tales of Vesperia yet getting to the last part of the game then realizing they got points for skills??? I barely looked at that menu admittedly. Also didn’t see I had a bunch of costume changes

I remember missing the area in BoTW that you get a horse the first time I tried playing it. It was absolute hell getting ANYWHERE
