Fire nation is more like Russia and China imo... America is more like the bad part of the earth kingdom. Also, getting more seasons of Avatar seems like a GREAT reason to be in denial about that statement

It's real sad to see creators drive themselves off a cliff so hard in service of spraypainting "a message" onto their work, but after what a shitshow Korra was compared to their previous show, I guess identity politics is is all they have left.

I must have missed the part where America got a leader that was actually interested in confronting its past and making up for it.
