I know it's satire but I wished my folks would've played video games with me. I hope my kids like video games and if they do I will really want to play with them and show them all the games I love.

We’ve reached the point where I’m pretty sure there are parents who do this but with various Pokémon generations. It’s like how some parents actually wonder how to introduce their kids to Star Wars between episodic order or order of release

I'm going to be a good parent and give them modern games and let them play the retro stuff it they're curious. Which is how I was raised. Played NES games at my Grandma's house :)
