Man this is exactly what I felt. Someone tell me what to think about this movie cuz I am confused.

Honestly ? I fell asleep.

I think it works a lot better and seems more coherent if you're familiar with the source material. Otherwise connections may not be evident. Even so, it's a fascinating story of human failure in the face of imposed virtue.
