I was able to get it off by unlocking ot and using a screw driver to loosen it

I managed to and it fucking busted the controller up to the point where the joycon would pop off with the littlest amount of effort and drop the Switch. Fun times.

NGL, they have always been easy to get off even if I attach them the wrong way.
