Missed an opportunity to tweet this tomorrow, exactly a decade since the last book in the series was published.

It's rather obvious he has no ability to finish ASOIAF -- which I don't say harshly. The first four books were amazing -- one of the more enjoyable reading experiences in my life. But yeah, Book 5 was a hot mess and he has now had a decade of writer's block. Sad really.

Game of Thrones is the fastest thing to become not cool I have ever seen. Literally the day after the final episode people stopped giving a fuck. STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS HOT.

The delay is nothing compared to the trauma caused by reading book 5.

Makes me laugh he was shocked the show overtook him. He was talking about having a head start but its obvious they'd pass him while he was stood still.
