This, is too real: I joined a games group in college & it was mostly programmers. They wanted to make an MMO & I was the ONLY artist in the group. They were all egging me on just a week into being there. Bailed hard & the head of the group mocked me for "Being a quitter"

Found a group through discord making a game run by person who essentially one of these people. Working with this individual was painful as they were always changing their ideas, but that individual not having the game doc done before recruiting everyone should've been a red flag

I had a guy do this to me. I said I was going into gamedev, and I asked him what skills he had. I went down the list, art, animation, modeling, coding, etc. No to each. "Sorry. I don't think we can really work together if you can't do anything." "But I have REALLY good ideas..."
