Because Pokémon is a licence with dozens of millions of copy sold. I mean, ofc I agree with this statement. I also do want that. But maybe Pokémon will just sell less if these remarks would be taken in account. Nintendo is a worldwide scale entertainment company.

I get that like 900 playable characters is a lot of work and that game freak is a small team but they have the money.

i enjoyed all of the new stuff they added in x/y, but i didn't really engage with the old stuff at all. i spent hours running a hotel and never beat the elite 4, is what I'm saying here
