Ah yes, it's the fans' fault. Nothing to do with the games.

The Pokémon game I put the most hours in was Soul Silver. From Gen 6 onwards the games don't feel complete or fulfilling. If they don't want to change, as a fan of the series there isn't much I can do.

The problem with Pokemon is that it chooses neither.

You see the problem is that Sword and Shield was neither and still cut content. And more people see Legends Arceus as an actually Fresh and Original game. Wild Area was definitely cool, but the entire game was muddled with problems that downplayed it until the DLC improved it.

I've unironically enjoyed SwSh a lot actually, as long as it plays like pokemon I honestly don't care.
