Oh my god this dilemma is the bane of my existence! As much as people bitch about non-skippable cutscenes, games (especially with heavy narrative) that auto skip cutscenes on ‘start’ are just as awful!

Man, thankfully developers are getting better at this. Sometimes even pausing during dialoge can skip lines altogether. Kingdom Hearts was good on this, letting you skip from the pause menu or just pause the cutscene. Honestly even reading this article is making me anxious.
