I haven't played Xbox in a long time, and I don't plan on playing it again. This is outrageous.

They did well without Bethesda for a long time. They aren’t in Panic mode people. I’ve seen Microsoft acquire and destroy companies just to dominate in the 90’s even seeing Bill Gates at a congressional meeting. Microsoft has not changed since then.
