Ok but I feel like we all have one of these games that we play a lot but also despise

TBH those sorts of situations tend to arise when someone enjoys the hell out of a game but the developers (or publisher) have actively changed the game for the worse since they started. Increased monetization, bad policies, weird gameplay changes, etc.

People can change their reviews on Steam as well. I've changed couple of reviews, because of trash updates, getting fed up with unfixed bugs and etc. I have 4k hours in PUBG, 6k in DoTA and my "reviews" are negative.

I saw one where the user had 300+ hours logged and complained there was "nothing left to do". Like, bro, you beat the game. Just play something else.

This is just me and warframe
