Same thing happened with KH3 and Nier Automata reviews. Journalists said easy was too easy but never even bothered playing on hard. And then KH3 ReMind came out and they complained that the bosses are too hard.

You laugh, but I legit had this problem with Divinity Original Sin 2. Normal is way too easy once you're even moderately comfortable with the systems. Meanwhile, Hard is basically impossible to complete without cheese.
