I took my son to a Lego convention & there was a contingent of Bionicle dudes who had powerful energy. I asked a Lego guy what was up with Bionicle he said "the community owes a great debt to Bionicle, it kept Lego alive in the 90s, but their time has passed"

Sad reminder that Lego actually revived Bionicle a few years ago. No one bought it and it was soon cancelled again.

Honestly I kind of don’t want it back because that story was complicated enough to make kingdom hearts simple and I don’t say that lightly
