All they simply have to do to make a good Star Fox game is literally use 64's controls/gameplay with new levels. Giant control changing gimmicks are absolutely not required. If they can do that with fucking Mario and Zelda, I dont know why that's so hard for Star Fox.

The best Star Fox game had the Star Fox team as guests and no one bought it. Starlink had some solid ideas, but if it had been solely a Star Fox game it'd be held so much higher.

Star Fox Zero was good once you got past the controls which admittedly took two full runs through for me. It's an inherently flawed game, but the design underneath was good. I'm going to go cry by my Wii U now because I know it will never be ported and fixed :'(
