Hot take: Borderlands 3 has big huge balls for trying to be funny for every single second of a 30+ hour campaign and while many jokes don’t land they do foster an overall tone of amusement that entertains for the entire 30+ hours. Take THAT parody news website!

Okay but there are a couple of really good jokes in Borderlands 3. One involving Claptrap having a podcast had me laughing so hard I ended up dying in game

I felt this way, back in 2012 with Borderlands 2. Even Claptrap got on my nerves after a while. Mass Effect 3 that same year showed how to really incorporate humor into a game, but nobody cared, because the ending was the only thing fans wanted to talk about.
