I get the joke... but studies have shown that many people who have the familiarity with screens have shown sensitivity and ability to differentiate up to almost 100 fps, iirc. Gamers, and especially competitive gamers are the most sensitive groups studied.

I have always dealt with 30 fps and experience 60 fps a few times. The change much appreciated.

Lmao. One of my ex-editing classmates insisted he could actually see at 250fps and "hacked" a school monitor to be "better". Not one to argue with him, when he went to the bathroom 20 min later I switched our monitors. He still isn't aware I did.
