I doubt it. State governments aren't going to pay for fiber expansion just for people to play video games.
But Google Fiber is starting to withdraw from locations like Louisville, so I don't think they're ramping up operations.
But now AT&T and Comcast are going to come in and take over Louisville, so they pretty much gave up that competition.
