.@GaryGensler and the SEC had more meetings with SBF and FTX/IEX than anyone else in crypto, allegedly to craft a special regulatory framework designed to benefit FTX alone. Making backroom regulatory deals with bad actors is not a tool in the SEC’s toolbox.
Until crypto platforms comply with time-tested securities laws, risks to investors will persist. It remains a priority of the SEC to use all of our available tools to bring the industry into compliance.

Thank you Representative Emmer for your moral clarity and bravery. I pray it's consistent across all issues important to Americans and you are able to influence your corrupt colleagues in the House and Senate. Abolish SEC, CIA, FBI, IRS and stop sending our money to warmongers

what jumps out to me is that FTT is now labeled a security per recent SEC correspondence. How would that not have been identified previously if SEC was working so closely w/ FTX? And why wait until now to come to that determination?

Tom if you don’t try and convict GARY GENSLER of the blatant corruption then your just another politician blowing smoke

Tom Emmer is the very person that blocked the SEC from looking into FTX. Allegedly. Think about that for a sec. He’s blaming the SEC for his own actions. Ken Griffin Henchmen. Allegedly. Peak Levels of Corruption by US Politician out in the open. This should be treason.

You are correct, now the key is to investigate it, find evidence of wrongdoing and get rid of him. Just talking about it isn’t going to make the change needed, let’s do something about it

And if he’s gone then what happens with the Ripple case? Is there any way that can be investigated with the facts John Deaton has laid out that ARE STILL not in dispute?!
