The Administration must embrace the benefits of open, permissionless & private digital assets, rather than place prominence on central bank digital currencies, the benefits of which remain confounding. (2/2)

All government power expends over time. Its not so much as 'in the wrong hand'. If it exists it is inevitable a CBDC will become ever more a tool for control, cronyism and surveillance, and drive us ever to more authoritarian centralized power. We must fight. #bitcoin is hope.

They are also essential to central banks to unwind 50 years of non pegged debt issuance. If you are referring to the government being the wrong hands you are pretty much saying that none of you should be employed. Congress really needs to sort their shit out.

10000000% true. It’s a very very dangerous direction. Decentralization is the future. Anything else is delaying the inevitable. Get on board and let’s build atop of BTC and Ethereum, right here in the USA. Let’s own the future.

There are literally zero "hands" that centralized CBDCs would be safe in. Incentive alignments inevitably lead to abuse by centralized powers. #Bitcoin

Absolutely agree. I have absolutely 0 confidence in any #CBDC Our country would need to do a complete 180 degree turn in direction and i just do not see it. I have a certainty that it would be grossly abused and used against the population.
