Under Chair Gensler, the SEC has become a power-hungry regulator, politicizing enforcement, baiting companies to β€œcome in and talk” to the Commission, then hitting them with enforcement actions, discouraging good-faith cooperation.

Hey Tom, next hypothetical do the one where the ethics board tells Hinman not to talk to his old bank buddies.. but he does anyways repeatedly. Oh and then he leaves the SEC, unretires, and now works for them again. Also they gave him like 7million dollars while he ignored ethics

Mr. Emmer, I’m not understanding how Mr. Sherman can weigh in his opinion on XRP before the case against Ripple is resolved, just doesn’t sit right. Comments from this hearing have even further eroded what little trust if any in the SEC and in certain members of the oversight.

The US is cracking down on everything they see fit. Not just the SEC. Thats what you get for having a world economy based on the dollar, an army to raid for resources and NATO at their feet. Slavery via economic warfare

The SEC has NO power to do its job thanks to funding cuts from the #GOP we are not that many years removed from the bank collapse of Bush! These banks and companies are doing EXACTLY the same thing and you want to stop the SEC even more! Who’s paying for the next collapse TOM?
