.@GaryGensler, you put all of the SEC’s taxpayer funded resources into crypto crackdowns. Now you don’t have the funds to do your actual job so you’re coming to Congress for more? You’ve got to be kidding me.

Replying to @GOPMajorityWhip
Here is a solution. Come out with guidance in line with what other countries and stop spending taxpayer money on cases you shouldn’t have filed. Can’t wait til Ripple wins this case. @GaryGensler you ruined the lives of many. #XRP

Many digital assets are not securities so their oversight should be limited therefore limiting their budget appropriately.

Tom this a disgrace what they have done I’m watching from Ireland USA used to be my hero

Can the SEC be compelled to produce to Congress a detailed account of costs incurred and costs projections in the Ripple case. This in a case without weight nor merit. This is how SEC resources are being spent. And they want more?. OMG!!!!! 😲😲😲😲😲

Every man woman and child in America paying 6 dollars for this agency. I would rather have a Starbucks coffee.

Tom, can you tell me why in the last 6 years - not a single piece of crypto legislation passed. To me that seems like plenty of time and money on the backs American citizens.

Last time I checked we don’t have the regulatory clarity for the SEC to go in heavy on Crypto. Not cool. That’s on congress & the regulators for dragging their feet on this rapidly emerging & expanding technology. The US is behind the eight ball people. Get it together!

Get him out of here. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee. @GaryGensler I dont feel protected by you at alllll.

It appears regulation by enforcement is expensive and maybe if there was more clarity the SEC wouldn't have this money problem. Curious if the CFTC would have had the same request for $$ if crypto companies had been guided / regulated / policed by them vs. the SEC.

Is there any written official job description for the SEC Chair position? For all I can understand it seems like Mr. Gensler doesn't know how to do his given job.
