Because Old Gary is trying to help the Wall Street middlemen squeeze as much rents as they can on futures products. Spot ETFs are not that profitable and they’d help the average investor, so he’s not gonna help

Hey @GaryGensler either be helpful with reasonably valid crypto regulations or stand out of the way as @RepTomEmmer suggests below. We certainly don’t think those decades old Howey Tests from 1933 are applicable to digital assets anymore.
