Brutalism as an ideology works well as an influence for a city of culture brand, however what I’ve seen it’s not essentially Brutalist but rather influenced by the aesthetic. Still executed well. See how it pans out when the council get hold of it... maybe more colour?

It has my vote. Anyone who can make Coventry look this good deserves a medal! (Only joking, fond memories of the place. I spent many nights out in Cov back in the Eclipse days – hardcore, you know the score!

The branding looks great, but it remains to be seen whether it will be translated into content during the year - will the city's amazing modernist architecture be part of the programme? And at a time when so much of it is under threat.

That's lovely. Especially if you know Coventry. I'd prefer the blue was a little more towards Sky Blue, though...
