It's *alright*. Seems to be a lot of elements going on – I find it quite busy for a simple logo. I like what Marianne stands for, but I'm not sure she would have had a bob mind you (haircut that is!).

Nice as a graphic, love the thinking behind it but not sure it’s an Olympic mark. I think imitating gold as a flat colour is always a bad idea. The lips easily get lost. Would make a nice screen print though.

We prefer the original bid logo. More vibrant and with more of a sense of place...

Eiffel Tower can be cliche...I see the Olympic Flame; clever use of negative space...It doesn’t feel like an Olympic Games logo so that throws me off a bit, although that may not be a bad thing. It is fresh and nothing could be worse than London 2012.

The typography and wordmark seem quite at odds with the logomark. They don't look like they belong together in the same identity system.
