While we certainly appreciate the enthusiasm for one of our previous games, we aren't involved with either the decision or the work on ports or remasters.

It stands for Volition. We precede just about everything with V internally: V-Raffle, V-Cookoff, V-Bay (for selling stuff on our internal forums), etc.
