If you're talking about Saints Row 2, we have no plans to release the source code. As we talked about on our stream, we made a decision to fix the game rather than release the source, which would have needed to have all the middleware stripped out first making it fairly useless.
The old mod will still be installed in the old location for the old version, and you would want to download the new version of the mod to install in the new location where the new version of the game is. They will be completely separate.
The fixed version of Saints Row 2 is going to be a new entry in your Steam library, so any additional mods would need to be installed again. @IdolNinja is working on a new compatible version of the mod pack for any extra modded features that aren't making it in to the patch.
Vehicle Artist Zachary Klegon and Tech Animator Luis Rios will be live today at 2pm PT/5pm ET/22:00 BST on our Spooky Halloween stream!

The goal is to improve performance and stability, add Steam integration for multiplayer, and add the console DLC which PC never received. We don't have any other information to share beyond that.
The Saints Row 2 11th anniversary stream is now live on VolitionTube:

No stream today, but we will be returning on Halloween for something spooky!
Thank you for sharing that with us. It means a lot that our games provided some fun and escape from the pain. Also glad to hear that you're getting better!
Thanks @AbleGamers for coming out to the studio this week. We take accessibility in our games seriously, and the APXP training has given our designers a lot of valuable info to think about and implement for future titles!
