We would love to see all the Saints Row games backwards compatible. The studio isn't involved with either the decision or the actual work to make that happen though.

Yes, the Saints Row IP was picked up by Koch Media in the THQ bankruptcy auction, along with the studio. We've since released Saints Row IV, Gat out of Hell, and the Saints Row spinoff Agents of Mayhem.

In Agents of Mayhem, Gat mentions bits and pieces of his past in dreams. Keep in mind that this is an alternate universe though, and not a replacement for the original timeline.

Gat out of Hell is not affected in any way. Only Saints Row The Third and Saints Row IV will no longer be able to download or upload boss characters or save screenshots.
This only affects the uploading/downloading of Boss characters and screenshots for the PC/PS3/360 versions of Saints Row The Third and Saints Row IV. It will not affect coop/multi in any way.
