The gang servers were permanently shut down, and will not be returning. Like all online services, there comes a time when the monthly cost of maintaining them outweighs the value from a shrinking player base. You can still play multiplayer with SR1 though over Xbox Live.

The only source code ever missing was for SR2 PC since it was outsourced to a different studio. We have always had the source for SR1 and SR2 console versions.

We are completely focused on creating a new Saints Row game, and are not involved with the remaster which is being done by Sperasoft.

Sorry, but the patch cycle for the original Saints Row is long since over. There will be no further updates to the game.
