first i have heard of this game, doesn't have a number so is it a reimagining of the 1st game or a complete reboot of the series?

Interesting! I really liked 1, 2 and 3 and then lost interest so I'll keep an eye on this

I'm honestly excited for a reboot. This may not me the case with others but I want something new in Saints Row. Can't wait.
