Honestly, I don't think blaming COVID is genuine. You didn't give the team enough time nor creative freedom to make a game that's going to standout and get the stage Saints Row deserves. Realizing that this may be your last chance, you course-corrected. Just say that.

As long as it looks and plays less like fortnight then it currently does at the end result, take all the time you need.

Probably for the best. It was an already loaded release window and it’s hopefully going to lead to concerns players had after the reveal.
