Why do the characters look like the cast of a Disney Channel show ?

Being a huge fan of the first 2 I can see what people are saying, however I did enjoy 3, 4 and dear I say it Gat out of Hell, simply because it was the same cast if characters carried over, same crew different game. If the characters are just as cool as the OGs We're golden.
